Emelisa Ombing and her husband, Efren Bedia, embarked on a remarkable journey from the Philippines to Canada. Emelisa, with a background in Computer Science and a decade-long career in a global logistics company, arrived in Canada in 2008 as a housekeeper at Fairmont Hotsprings. Through dedication and opportunities, she obtained permanent residency and brought her family to Canada.

In 2012, the couple transitioned to healthcare by enrolling in a Health Care Aid Program. Shortly after, they purchased a cleaning business in Fairmont, renaming it "JBenedict Cleaning Services" after their resilient son, John Benedict. Despite their busy schedules, managing school and the business simultaneously, they expanded the company's services and client base.

Their expertise in hospitality and housekeeping proved valuable, enabling them to grow their business to 40 clients, offering various cleaning services. They hired subcontract cleaners, aiming not only to expand but also to provide employment opportunities.

Their entrepreneurial spirit didn't stop there. In 2014, they became part owners of "Invermere Dry Cleaning and Laundromat" and managed housekeeping services for the "Radium Chalet." Despite managing three businesses, Efren continued his passion for care aid work.

Their ambition led them to Kelowna in 2019, where they extended their services to include janitorial, strata, construction, commercial cleaning, carpet cleaning, and window cleaning.

Emelisa and Efren's goal remains focused: maintaining exceptional service, expanding their clientele, and providing opportunities for others while meeting the continuous demand for cleaning services. Their story exemplifies resilience, seizing opportunities, and giving back to the community.
